The Commercial Diving Academy was recently recognized and Accredited through the Association of Commercial Diving Educators (ACDE). The Association of Commercial Diving Educators was established in 1979 to provide lines of communication between industry, schools and programs which offer commercial diver training. ACDE, Inc. is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Commercial Diving Academy affiliate, The Professional Scuba Diving Academy (PSDA), has been named as the only NAUI Professional Career Training Institute. This designation was given to CDA for their unique capabilities to offer training in all aspects of SCUBA diving from open water to Instructor, Technial Diving, Public Safety Diving and programs in Diver Medical Technician (DMT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Chamber operation and Hyperbaric Medicine. All SCUBA programs will be offered at 40 Fathom Grotto, our 240/ft spring in Ocala, Fl.
